VILLA GIADA
location: Brescia, Italy
area: 3,400 sq ft
architecture: Phōs design studio
phase: Built
The project's main goal is to improve the connection between the house, the park, and the surrounding nature.
To achieve this goal, extensive renovations were carried out, including demolition and structural reinforcement. The result is a design that allows natural light to radiate into the interior, producing a harmonious blend with the surroundings. The exterior of the building features bands of blackened glulam fir, which not only provide aesthetic appeal but also unify the entire intervention. The use of dark colors and natural materials complements the bucolic setting and adds charm to the building.
