Phōs(φῶς) in Ancient Greek refers to a pure and brilliant quality of light that shapes shadows, represents a break in the darkness, and symbolizes the triumph of truth and knowledge over ignorance. It also signifies an orientation towards something greater.

Phōs is a Seattle-based design studio that draws inspiration from the unique quality of light found in the Pacific Northwest. We believe in the importance of utilizing natural light to shape contemporary living spaces, creating atmospheres that are not only visually appealing but also harmonious and inviting.

Light, nature, and shelter coexist in a symbiotic harmony.

By thoughtfully balancing these elements, we design spaces in tune with their natural or urban surroundings, that truly cater to the needs of our clients, .
